Why I did it:
Been doing this for a long time. Ever since my wife yelled "Stop! That old salad is perfect compost.", I realized we were serious.

Why I did it:
I've been a composter for life courtesy of my wonderful parents. The results are excellent for the garden and lawn. Many local governments now have programs where they will give residents composting bins or fences free of charge so check in your area.

Why I did it:
I've composted all our kitchen scraps and grass clippings since last spring (2006) - I've had four batches of amazing black soil (full of big juicy worms) for my garden. I love composting!

Why I did it:
Actually I was looking through the Act list to try to figure it out - and this one is easy because I have composted everything organic I could find, for my garden, since I bought my house in 1980.
