Why I did it:
I attended a performance of Amajuba: Like Doves We Rise-- a play about the lives of the African performers who act in the performance. I wanted to see personal experiences on the stage and learn about a different culture.

Why I did it:
Attending a children's cultural performance in Laos.
As societies modernize, much of the arts of the forefathers (or mothers) is forgotten, and attending a traditional will help to sustain interest in it, especially for the younger generation.
