This blog is simply a virtual handshake, a web-based high-five, a www.welcome... A THANK YOU; for being a part of this Community, for being one of a special group of lucky firsts to engage in what we hope will be the dawning of a new age of People-Positive commerce and consciousness.

It's a big task, but it's gotta start somewhere... and WorldofGood.com is where it's at.

We launch this Community site first, with the goal of bringing about true economic justice and sustainable social change later with the eBay Marketplace, set to launch in Spring 2008, with the goal of alleviating poverty on a global scale via the power of commerce. Which is why we're hoping you will tell all of your friends, coworkers, cohorts and partners in justice about us to broaden this move for change!

For, in this age of capital and commerce, what is more powerful than the way we spend our money, and the ways in which we conceptualize the origins of the products we want, use, and depend upon? In response, what's a better way to feel connected to the producer groups who make those goods, the Trust Providers who verify and certify them, and other consumers who yearn for a new way of impacting their world in a People-Positive way?

Let this site, and our Community, be a resource, a venue of expression for you- to express your dreams and insights, share your concerns and unique perspectives; 'cause it's about time some we take some action to reach out to create economic justice, to expend a small amount of energy for a great return- the greater good.

So don't be shy! Look around the site, browse and explore, and throw your 3 cents in there- yes, blog, blog away, buy to your hearts' content... and, most important of all- HAVE FUN!
