Even the tiniest action toward sustainability makes a difference.
What is sustainability? It's living in such a way that everyone on the planet, and everyone in the next generation not yet born, can enjoy the earth just as much as we can.
Pondering what this means, I realise that I am still a million miles from this goal. I recycled all my incandescent bulbs and bought and installed 30 compact flourescent ones. But everyone in the world can't do that, I mean not only would we have to build more glass factories, but we'd need hundreds or thousands of additional power plants to power 100 billion additional bulbs.

How do we lead our lives that are sustainable? How do we reduce our impact on the environment?
I found this open collaboration platform for people seeking choices for living a responsible life. A quick reference tool when in doubt.

The great part is that it is an ‘editable’ organization which subscribes to the wiki philosophy of an ‘anyone can edit’ where good people, with good intent and good work prevail over the not-so-good, the not-yet-great-enough, and sometimes the downright bad ones.
