Action made easy- Can you send a few e-mails today for Zimbawe?

Friends-
Thank you for joining in prayer yesterday and
throughout this week for Zimbabwe. Here's a link to
one of the key leaders who called for the prayer and
fasting time with an short video that you might find
informative if you click on the second picture.

I've just received word that there is going to be a
briefing to the United Nations Security Council on the
Zimbabwe crisis on Tuesday 29th April 2008. I've been
asked to forward a request to send notes to the UN
security Council and a slightly different note to some
Key African leaders. I know folks don't have a lot of
time so I tried to make it super easy on the one-page
attachment. (It should take about 10-15 minutes tops).
Please also pray for these world leaders that they
will have the strength of conviction to stand for what
is right.

A request has originated from this group from Zimbabwe
called "Enough is Enough" but I warn you that there is
some brutal photos so don't go to this site unless you
are prepared. http://www.sokwanele.com/

I believe as people of faith who believe in
non-violence, we really have to wrestle with why our
only hope is to call for action on the part of groups
that could possibly send armed "peace keepers" but in
the absence of a Shalom Insurgency of global
non-violent Christians raising to the call, this seems
the best we can do for now.

God Bless,
Joy
