With so many families living apart these days, there are many children who have little physical contact with grandparents. This also causes many older folks to be without little ones around. Let's all help stop loneliness together - adopt a grandparent today!!!

How can you do Adopt A Grand?  
If you're young, head to you local Retirement Community.  Ask the Activities Coordinator if there are any elder adults that could use companionship from time to time.  If you live near a nursing home, I'm sure there are a few there who rarely get a visitor!

And if your grandchildren have moved away, call a local elementary school to see if they hold Grandparents Day in September.  If they do, I'm sure you could do a bit of searching to find a child who no longer has a grandparent or who needs a friend close by!
