I believe Hepatitis C will be the world's next epidemic.Most people don't become symptomatic until about 25-30 years after the initial infection. Fatique is usually the first presenting symptom. There is no cure! Treatment is chemotherapy which has a 50 to 70 percent "sustained viral response" success rate at best. The virus can return after treatment and often a liver transplant is the only option available if chemotherapy is not successful.
