Malawi has a lot of natural resources that the people can use to lift themselves up on the world stage, but they are stuck in a mire of corruption and poor organization. Through education, Beehive school hopes to nurture future Malawian leaders and innovators to help them transform their own country into the thriving modern economy that it has the potential for. This is of course a ways off, so the first step is to help Mzuzu and its elementary school children.

The purpose of this website is to help Beehive School, an elementary school in Mzuzu, Malawi. Founded by Niall Dorey in 2003, Beehive has grown by leaps and bounds with new classrooms being built every term. The student body has grown from 8 pupils to 150 in just 4 years, and the school has an excellent reputation.

The school rents a house which Niall has converted into a school. Beehive School is growing and needs to move to a bigger, permanent location. Beehive needs funds and volunteers to build classrooms, a library, computer lab, music room and sports facilities.

You can make a difference in the lives of these children and the town of Mzuzu by donating your money and/or time to Beehive School.
