For more than 5,000 years Traditional Chinese medicine has existed and served literally billions of people not only within China but also globally. Its formulas have cured many persons across cultures and ethnicity including drug-resistant Malaria and granted greater quality of life to many others who suffer chronic and difficult diseases. However, Chinese medicine doctors and practitioners have often been undervalued and misunderstood within modern medical systems and their methodologies are often misapplied during clinical trials. Its herbal formulations, as some have suggested are molecular medicine.
