The Global Peace Tiles Project is building bonds between people and communities through art and exchange. Through a simple yet participatory and dynamic workshop process, participants produce individual works of art that tell personal stories and can be used to create vibrant murals for sharing, education and advocacy.

Issues the Peace Tiles project is currently working to address are global HIV/AIDS, children in conflict, human trafficking, urbanization, and children in dumps. Check out some of the amazing tiles that are being produced around the world - and share your images too! - at the Peace Tiles Flickr Group.

Peace Tiles are being used to connect individuals, classrooms, and groups around the world through "pen pal" like exchanges. Check out our initiatives, partners and even a fun eCard maker at peacetiles.net.

The Global Peace Tiles Project is an initiative of the Institute for Social Ecology, a 501(c)(3).
