We are working to create an organization which will facilitate a group of people (whatever the number comes out to being) crossing the United States by bicycle- Chincoteague, VA to San Diego, CA. Our goal is to raise as much money as humanly possible to donate to humanitarian causes in Zimbabwe and raise awareness about their situation (See the short video below titled "This is Zimbabwe" in the discussion section to understand more.). By next year, over half of the population will be reliant upon emergency food aid, something we cannot even imagine. We feel like we have the resources, friends, family, inspiration, and above all the obligation to help out where help is so badly needed.

If you feel like you can contribute in any way at all please let us know. As stated before-- this can be huge if we want it to be.
We need:
1. Pledges, donations, anything that can help out with the situation in Zimbabwe. We will be fully self supported on this trip, so nothing will go into the riders' pockets.
2. People who are willing to help out in organizing, marketing, publicizing... anything that you think you can do to help get the word out about our cause.
3. People to go on the RIDE WITH US. We want anyone anywhere to join in this adventure. Take time out of your schedules to get out and do something crazy. You do not need any history in bike riding just the motivation to train before the trip.

You can participate in one of those or all of them, or even if you just have an idea, LET US KNOW!

We want this to be a group event and project involving anyone from around the country- even if you can only ride for a day.

The charity we are working with is called the Dispatch Foundation-- the same foundation that helped to organize the Dispatch Zimbabwe concert at Madison Square Garden which raised over $1 Million Dollars.

Please if you even have the slightest inkling to get involved or know someone who would, let us know and spread the word. What an opportunity to SAVE LIVES. Please, just take a moment to look at the video below, "This is Zimbabwe;" it shows what cannot be put into words.
