Our primary mission is to provide educational and economic opportunities to communities in Honduras and to engage students and young professionals with our projects from beginning to end.
More generally, Students Helping Honduras (SHH) is an organization created by college students whose mission is to respond to the basic needs of children in Honduras. SHH seeks to mobilize and connect students throughout the United States and cultivate the spirit of volunteerism and global responsibility. Several times throughout the year, students make trips to Honduras to work on service projects. In the United States, they fundraise, network, and increase awareness of the conditions in Honduras.
