The Action Group to End Human Trafficking and Modern-Day Slavery is a U.S.-based, non-partisan legislative coalition of complementary organizations dedicated to developing a specific and time-bound policy agenda for abolishing slavery and human trafficking. The first is the overarching belief that modern-day slavery and human trafficking can and must be abolished in our lifetime. The second is the commitment to a concrete legislative agenda designed to achieve this goal. By leveraging the passion and expertise of members and of the community at-large, the Action Group endeavors to catalyze the laws, norms and public awareness crucial to the ultimate eradication of trafficking and enslavement.
