At Unlimited Palette, we believe in the "unlimited" creative potential of all people, and in particular, today's youth. We seek to nurture creativity in children in order to help them develop greater problem solving and coping skills.
While there are many activities that promote creativity, we would like to encourage everyone to perform one simple act: GIVE A KID A SKETCHBOOK. Of course, you may want to throw in a pencil too.
This simple act is inexpensive, but it encourages children to develop lifelong thinking skills and to explore their own imaginations and the world around them.
Please check back often for tips on using Sketchbooks effectively and to share your own experiences.
In addition to the GIVE A KID A SKETCHBOOK program, Unlimited Palette also seeks service opportunities that allow youth to help beautify and unite their communities through artistic endeavors.
These efforts may include art shows, approved murals, poster art for local events, art lessons, theatrical performances, etc. The possibilities are . . . unlimited.
As youth improve their own talents and then invest that talent back into their communities, they learn to value themselves, respect others, and strenghten their cities and neighborhoods.
