Charles K. Chear holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Mr. Chear’s previous professional experiences include the Cambodian Association of Greater Philadelphia, the Asian American Studies Program at UMass Boston, and the Pine Street Inn homeless shelter. He remains active in the marginalized communities of Boston and Philadelphia. He is currently an employment counselor at IMPACT, a program of the Friends of the Shattuck Shelter in Boston, MA.

Mr. Chear’s interests include inter-people of color relations, social capital, immigration/migration, and labor issues.
