I am a graduate student, NGO worker, and advocate for human rights.

If I could shape the world in any way I wished, I would create a world free of discrimination, poverty, conflict, and hatred. In the meantime, I work as a human rights advocate through my career in an NGO, graduate studies, and volunteer opportunities. Through my work, I hope to support one very real and attainable change - a movement from dictatorship to democracy in Burma. Through democracy human rights abuses in and around Burma, some of the worst abuses in the world and least well known, will be addressed.

I've been fortunate to travel throughout the majority of states in my own country, our neighbors, Canada and Mexico, Bangladesh, India, Spain, the Dominican Republic, and most recently, the Thailand-Burma border.
