Caitlin Cohen is the director of the Mali Health Organizing Project (MHOP). She is a Development Studies major and MD candidate at Brown University. She has worked in research, administration, education, and curriculum development with several non-profit organizations including the Institute for the Study and Practice of Nonviolence, the Rhode Island Free Clinic, and WE-ACT Rwanda. She co-founded the Mali Health Organizing Project in 2006, and has interned in the infectious disease ward in the Point G Hospital of Bamako. She is a co-founder of the International Public Health Coalition at Brown, a national Truman Scholarship finalist, a Watson Institute Fellow, an International Health Institute Fellow, a Royce Fellow, a Research at Brown Scholar among other distinctions.
