Why I Joined: My personal circumstances prevent actual travel at present, so I'm destined only to travel virtually, using my laptop. At least this is green! Over 24 months I've made a virtual journey to over a hundred countries as part of my World Connectory Project.

10/02/07 Why I did it: Opok Farms is a really exciting idea that combines peace-building, resettlement, vocational training, ethical education, bio-friendly agriculture, IT, sustainable development and even, hopefully, eco-tourism. It's simply brilliant! Done for: Resettlement for Child-headed Households: Uganda

Why I Joined: Met Kalanzi Fred on O.net & learned of his mission to collect soccer boots for kids in Africa. Exploring if I can concoct a sustainable scheme in UK to get used boots to him in Uganda - transport seem to be a bit of a problem. Hope to share ideas.

Why I Joined: After initiating a newspaper appeal that secured Kayiwa Fred a set of team football kit (not boots), I was offered 3 pairs of used boots by someone who agreed to work with me to collect more boots. But I have temporarily lost touch. Idea seems workable.
