Get bike racks for parking at your home/ work/ community

Recently completed:

05/19/08 Why I did it: We are working on stopping a parking space increase at the Community College which happens to be directly across from my home, and in a maple tree park. We are encouraging bike parking and carpooling, instead. Done for: Cyclists for Cycling

Take reusable cloth bags to the supermarket

Recently completed:

05/19/08 Why I did it: I always encourage my friends/family/roomies to take bags to the store every time, AND I have even given them as birthday and Christmas gifts. It's really fun to make them out of old torn up clothing or fabric swatches and give as gifts! Done for: Recycling

Why I Joined: I feel that there are many people in this planet that are unaware of this issue. I do my best to educate as many people as possible about women in and out of conflict zones that are hurt and affected by sexual and mental abuse.

Why I Joined: Why not? It's good for our planet, and it's good for you too! Besides, it's BEAUTIFUL OUTSIDE...way better than inside a metal coffin. And the sexy leg muscles you can develop...oh my!
