Why I Joined: This is one of my favorite organizations! I am so inspired by their many wonderful and life-saving programs, and I will be an enthusiastic supporter and member, both of the USA Chapter and of the HQ in Uganda.

Why I Joined: Violence against women is at epidemic proportions all over the world, and there are close links to HIV/AIDS, poverty, and other challenges linked with this scourge. It must be ended, and whatever will help to do that is a valuable and welcome activity.

Why I Joined: I love this idea!! It is simple yet powerful, and more easily do-able than so many other gestures of support. This is akin to the creative approach and artistic philosophy of ActALIVE (registered at Razoo), and I'll be happy to spread the sketchbook word!

10/06/07 Why I did it: ActALIVE members have turned out in 11 or more countries to make Peace Tiles, and have loved every minute of it! It's a fun and life-enhancing cause (great to find both at the same time:), which is why it gets my vote!

Why I Joined: BRAVO Dennis!! You and other creative spirits globally have proven just how powerful theater and other artforms are for addressing issues related to health, youth, development, and more. So let the linking, learning, and "live"-liness begin!

Why I Joined: Haiti is a country where I too have strong ties, and about which I have deep feelings. I have volunteered to help several education-oriented projects there, two centered around Jacmel, and one closer to the capital. What you're doing is inspiring...bravo!
