Why I Joined: Saving Shelter Pets helps domestic companion animals in need, through its rescue programs and also its spay/neuter work. They are a first-class animal welfare organization, focused on the total solution to the pet overpopulation problem.

Why I Joined: The HSUS estimates that 4-5 million homeless pets are put to death every year in the U.S., simply because there aren't enough homes for them all. Pet population must be controlled to end this senseless killing, thru Spay/Neuter and educational programs.
