the Philippines; Thailand tsunami
relief with Global Service Corps;
Katrina hurricane relief in Houston,
Texas working with evacuees;
Costa Rica with Foundation of
International Medical Relief for
Children (FIMRC) working in
Alajuelita; Zimbabwe and Chad
for needs assessment of
orphaned children of AIDS;
Uganda - with a team, set up the
first McGuire water purifier in
Mubende, Uganda and medical
mission with people isolated in
remote areas because of AIDS.

Jumpstarted school-based
programs, in-patient child and
adolescent unit, adolescent
drug and alcohol rehabilitation
center.
Many leadership roles including
serving the refugees in our
community; service in the
Appalachian regions. Several
outstanding leadership and
achievement awards.

Traveling to many countries around the world has been a great learning experience. I hope to see more places and do some volunteer medical missions and relief work in remote places in the world.
