09/05/07 Why I did it: My household joined a CSA program through a nearby farm. We purchased one "share," which means we get a weekly share in the produce, and the money goes directly to the farmers. I pick up our first box of fresh, organic and local produce tomorrow! :) Done for: Burn Less Fuel Vegetarianism Support Local Food Production

09/01/07 Why I did it: Doing this is an anonymous (mostly) and unexpected act of kindness and generosity. I love that it's a real way we can practice giving to strangers, without seeing the reaction or being acknowledged for it.
