Why I Joined: World Vision is big ... one of the biggest organizations in the not-for-profit world. My hope is that one day it will also be able to show it is the best using a strong system of public accountability. I am from the Tr-Ac-Net Organization.

Why I Joined: Over the past 50 years there has been exponential progress in medical science, and some important success in disease control ... but also much of the world's health infrastructure is a shambles. Is there something we can do? What? Peter Burgess

Why I Joined: Maybe I can help is some way ... the basic idea of this initiative seems to be worthwhile ... but how easy will it be to make it successful? Peter Burgess

Why I Joined: Dear Colleagues Isn't it a shame that malaria ... which kills thousands every day in Africa ... is a neglected tropical disease. Though there are huge health problems, the health infrastructure in poor tropical countries is awful. Peter Burgess

Why I Joined: Dear Colleagues Corruption had many forms ... and mostly it is very bad for society as a whole, and very good for some part of the economic community. I am not impressed with how it has been handled in the last few decades. Peter Burgess
