Visual art is another division of Radio Active’s creativity. As a multi-media artist, you can find his paintings and graph art hanging in galleries and sprayed on streets around the world. Radio Active employs live art into some of his performances, where he’ll paint a piece during his musical set. His mixed-media sets are another testament to his credit as a true crossover artist.
Radio Active’s musical journey has brought him across the globe from large stages, performing with internationally touring musical artists to the backstage alleys, free-styling with the locals. His influences are simplistic, “Both hip hop and the street were crucial in my music development, the street provided a large impact on my music and all outlets of my creative expression. The raw emotion and honesty of the street reveals itself without regret. Seeing other kids rapping, seeing what they feel, inspires me.”
Radio Active continues to expand his global musical journey and states, “I am looking forward to a continued pursuit of music experience, now grounded with an international perspective. I will stay active, learn and teach Hip Hop.” As a forward thinker, Radio Active knows 2007 is his year and with TIME Magazine’s “Person of the Year” to his credit, he is ready to shine.
