I want to go to Darfur to help their decimated culture and infrastructure and to erect some solar-powered early warning cellular internet system and digital camers so tribal elders can take pictures and communicate with each other and the outside world about impending dangers of helicopter and other gunship attacks on their villages. I want to do this because I have a dream to connect communities (like the Darfurian tribes who has suffered genocidal attack and death of 400,000) with first world technologies that can empower them to tell their stories to the world in near-real time-- circumventing the mass media's unbelievable apathy toward the current genocide. I want to train a web-savy and PR-savy community of Sudanese people who can present the truth of the truth of the slaughters as they happen and empower international outrage like Mia Farrow, Angelina Jolie, Bono, Oprah and George Clooney have tried to do.
