I teach at Goucher College in the Sociology/Anthropology Department. I am a folklorist, administrator, drummer, and integrative breathwork therapist. I helped start Maryland Traditions and the Baltimore International Rhythm Festival, and was a fairly active participant at Omidyar.net. I believe in the power of culture to change people's lives, and the importance of cultural health in sustainable, thriving communities.
