Hi, I'm Sam. I've lived my whole life in Ketchum Idaho and I consider myself very lucky to live here. I love this place so much. It is very beautiful. I go to a private college prep school and it is filled with many different types of people. My teachers are very well informed and they have helped me so much in my career as a student so far. I love sports and I am on the local nordic ski team as well as my school's cross country running team. One of the things in my life that I am the most proud of is the community service that I have done in my community but also in Mexico. Every year for the past 4 years i have gone down to Tijuana in the summer and built houses there for people who cant afford to hire people to build their houses. I go with the group Esperanza International http://www.esperanzainternational.org/ and every year it gets better. This annual experience has inspired me to make service a large part of my life and as i begin my search for colleges i am looking more and more into majors and courses that will help me in other countries so that I can travel to places across the world and help people.

Give all that I can to help others. Be as selfless as possible. Be a better person and help others to better themselves too.

I pride myself in being able to enjoy most everything. Although some interests of mine would be nordic skiing, mountain climbing, music, poetry, and traveling.
