Trying to make my world smaller, engage in authentic community, take time to really listen to people, and love the ones around me well. Trying to slow down, to get over myself, to remember what's important and to advocate for and invest in those things. Trying to remember that my community is here, while not forgetting to stand with my brothers and sisters overseas. Trying to stay rooted in hope and love, amidst injustice and tragedy. Believing that Truth and Light are more powerful than darkness, and that if I remain in them, they will remain in me.
