Strive is a Chicago based pop rock band which exists to share the love of Christ, encourage lives of compassion and involvement in culture shaping activities. Members include Derick Thompson, Will Puth, Rich Kluckow and Joshua Brollier.

They have been together for 7 years. Upon first listen, you will notice that STRIVE doesn't sound like anyone else around. You might be able to recognize their strong British and European influences, but its hard to identify their sound as anything but their own.

Singer and Pianist, Derick Thompson & bassist Rich Kluckow met the original drummer Chris Powers at Wheaton College and formed STRIVE in early 2001. About a year later, guitarist Will Puth joined the entourage. STRIVE performed their rock music in Chicagoland clubs, schools and churches while recording multiple independent albums. By July 2003, the group toured Russia using concerts as opportunities to share the Gospel and a message of AIDS awareness and prevention.

After graduating from college, the guys in STRIVE created The Rock Gospel of Jesus Christ project and founded the non-profit organization Rock Gospel Ministries to impact the world in positive ways through music. Since then they have toured Brazil extensively as well as the USA.
